ELECTRICIAN SERVICE IN MURFREESBORO AND SMYRNA

Total Trans4mation is a fully licensed, bonded and insured electrical contractor that can perform any residential or commercial electrical service in Murfreesboro, Smyrna or any other surrounding areas of Rutherford County. We specialize in adding electrical wiring and fixtures to existing homes such as replacing a main breaker panel, adding a switch or an outlet, running new wire to a shed or barn, installing indoor and outdoor lighting or simply installing an outlet for your jacuzzi or an outdoor pool. We install interior lighting such as can lights and track lights. We also install exterior lighting for homeowners who are wanting to add security motion lights and landscape lighting for those homeowners who may want to give their home that nice after dark appeal. If you are wanting to protect the electrical items in your home such as your computer, television, HVAC system or appliances, we can install a whole house surge protection on the main breaker panel which will protect everything that is connected to the breaker panel against power surges. It not only protects your HVAC equipment and appliances from power surges, it also keeps you from having to run multiple surge protectors behind all your electronics throughout your home. We also perform visual and written electrical inspections which can be very useful when someone is purchasing a home and wants to make sure it's going to be safe to live in.

Electrical Inspections in Murfreesboro and Smyrna

If you are a real estate agent, future home buyer or existing home owner that is wanting to have an electrical inspection performed on a home, we can certainly help you do that. We have two forms of electrical inspections that we offer our customers which is a written inspection and a visual inspection. You may be asking what’s the difference between the two? Here’s the difference…

Written Inspection

The first thing you may want to know about a written inspection is that it is way more detailed than a visual inspection which is the reason why it costs more to do. A written inspection is similar to what you would see on a home inspection report. It will have pictures of everything that we feel needs to be repaired or addressed and it will have typed notes out to the side of each picture providing information about the photo. The notes may also contain recommendations that need to be performed to make the home’s electrical safer, more practical or up to codes.

Visual Inspection

A visual inspection is pretty much as it sounds. An electrician will visually inspect a house for electrical concerns such as loose or burnt wiring at the main breaker panel, perform voltage and amperage tests, as well as check to make sure the main panel itself isn’t damaged or overloaded. We also check all of your disconnects, small breaker boxes, your outside grounding rod, your grounds at the panel, and your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors to make sure that the home has all the safety components in place.
